George and Betty Hazuza have been providing beautiful plants and flowers to the people of Rillton and surrounding neighborhoods for over 50 years.
George and Betty started their business over 50 years ago as an evergreen nursery. Soon after the opening, the greenhouse business overtook the nursery and Hazuza's Greenhouse was born.
Since then, Hazuza's Greenhouse has been supplying annuals, plants, vegetables, and perennials to the towns of Rillton, North Huntingdon, Irwin and surrounding areas.
They are pleased to have 2 of their 4 grown children actively involved in the family-owned, family-run business. Their oldest daughter, Kim Stawicki, chose a different path and works in the area as a real estate agent for Remax.
The greenhouse opens in early spring for the Easter season when they raise Easter lilies, mums, and Hyacinths.
Hazuza's Greenhouse offers an abundant variety of quality springtime plants. The greenhouses are full of decorative planters, hanging baskets, bedding plants, vegetables, herbs and perennials.
Fall mums, straw and haystalks are available in the fall.
Celebrate the holidays with a beautiful poinsettia!
Sharon, Greg, Ginger and others help keep the Greenhouse up and running from April through December each year.
Sharon Primus, daughter of George and Betty Hazuza, manages the day-to-day operations of Hazuza's Greenhouse.
Greg Hazuza, son of George and Betty Hazuza, supervises maintenance around the Greenhouse. Greg also owns and operates Greenhouse Winery located right next door to Hazuza's Greenhouse.
Ginger's daily responsibilities include eating mice, napping in the sun and rubbing against people wearing black pants until they pet her.
